The Nexus 5 Has Been Leaked (Again) This Time With A Full Spec List

Even though the Nexus 5 isn’t available for purchase yet and hasn’t actually been officially announced, it is probably the most talked about smartphone at the moment. Whilst there have been a number of leaks regarding this Android device over the past few months, this new one actually released the full spec list of what consumers can expect once they purchase.

Apparently, the 4.95 inch screen offers 1920 x 1080 display resolution and contains Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It will have a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing one. It will feature the Android 4.4 (also known as KitKat) operating system and a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.

It has also been revealed that the Nexus 5 will only weigh 130 grams and that consumers will have the choice between 16GB and 32GB of internal storage coupled with 2GB of RAM. It will also feature a microUSB connection, Slim Port, 3.5mm stereo audio jack and dual microphones, as well as ceramic power and volume buttons to help prevent damage.

The leak occurred via Canadian carrier Wind Mobile, who actually had a pre-registration screen on their Facebook page for a little while before it was taken down. The carrier has not released how many people pre-registered for the phone before the page was removed. It seemed that a secondary leak on Google’s Play Store also occurred, pricing the phone at $349 for the 16GB version.

Rumours circulating over the past few days have suggested that the Nexus 5 will be available in white as well as black and that the launch date would fall on November 1. With October fast coming to a close, analysts believe that this date is actually quite plausible. So, on that note, we are sure that many people will be waiting with baited breath on Friday.
