Review of new 2014 BMW 5-Series

BMW has revealed its updated 5-series diesel range with more efficient engine and modern styling. The face-lifted BMW 5-series diesel car is already receiving an overwhelming response around the country. The new 5-series model has added contour lines around the kidney grille, restructured air intakes up front, added chrome surrounds for front fog lamps, extra crease chrome strip on the rear apron, restyled tail-lights and new alloy wheels. The entire BMW 5-series diesel range is expected to reach the showrooms by September 2014.

 

All 5-series models come with Xenon headlights while adaptive LED headlights are offered as an option. There are also new LED fog lights and the wing mirrors come with integrated indicators. This series is also equipped with BMW Emergency Call, which contacts the emergency services with the car’s location in the event of an accident. There is also an optional comfort access system which lets you to open and close the boot lid with your foot under the rear bumper. This car comes equipped with a four-cylinder motor good for 143bhp.

The room in back seat is great, and the interior styling appointments are arguably better than the previous models. However the price for the 520d SE saloon is slightly higher starting from $ 47367.52, while the touring costs is approximately $ 50867.14. Overall if you are willing to spend then this new 5-series BMW is certainly one of the smartest buy for all the car lovers.
